Mr Hamish Sillars is pleased to announce the dates for the next Greenlane Temporal Bone Course. This will be held on Friday 21st & Saturday 22nd August 2015. This is a highly respected course run in a state of the art laboratory by a very experienced faculty. The course has proven its worth over the years with many current ORL specialists being exclusively trained in this laboratory.
Could all interested parties please contact the convenors (Hamish Sillars, Michelle Wong and Michel Neeff) ASAP to book a place on the course. Please be aware that this is the preferred course for all SET trainees to attend for one (if not both) of the required Temporal bone courses. Overseas courses do not always equate to better teaching and the extra cost to the DHB's is money that could be better spent on direct patient care. I have asked all the regional supervisors to be aware that attendance at an international course would need to be justified before they would sign off on expenses - therefore you are expected to apply for funding BEFORE attending any other course as retrospective approval will not be automatic.
